Good morning beauties, hope you had a great long weekend! We had some nice sunny weather here in Ottawa and so it’s time to bust out the dresses and shorts. In doing so one of the concerns is that winter dry skin, ew. I was given the Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion at the Cityline Dave Lackie event in April and it’s absolutely awesome!
Clarins is really well-known for their skincare and I definitely see why because this body lotion really works. I had been using some other lotions on my hands, feet and body and I thought they were working well until I tried the Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion. I put this on my hands without really paying attention as I put on hand cream often throughout the day, but when I looked down at my hands to reach for my phone I was amazed. I actually thought to myself “Oh my god, my hands look different?” but in the best way possible. I thought the other lotions I had were doing a good job at moisturizing my skin but boy was I wrong. I am not exaggerating when I say this lotion is amazing, my hands looked so soft and the “wrinkles” didn’t show up as much. Overall my skin looked glowing and just extremely hydrated, I was and still am very impressed.
The product details on the Clarins website state the Moisture-Rich Body Lotion contains peach milk, shea, candlenut oil and orange blossom. These ingredients are supposed to minimize the signs of aging caused by sun, cold, heating and air-conditioning. It’s supposed to also improve skin tone and give a more youthful allover glow. I give this statement a 10 out of 10 for accuracy because the product really delivers exactly that.
The formula isn’t very greasy and absorbs really quickly. It dries fast so you can get dressed basically immediately or moisturize your hands and be able to use your phone or a pen or whatever you need to within a minute or so.
You can purchase a 200ml bottle for C$44.00, click here to shop the product. I know this is on the pricey side for a moisturizer and the be honest the only “downfall” to this product in my opinion is that it’s expensive. So realistically you don’t get a very big bottle of product and the cost is high. However, when you shop high-end products you can naturally knowingly expect such a price point. If you are looking for a moisturizer that will really hydrate your skin or if you have very dry skin I strongly suggest you check this out, it’s worth every penny!
