Don’t you love that bright clear-skin glow you have after you have been away on a holiday where you spent a lot of time in salt water?  Well Lush lets you to take that glowhome with you, and it comes in a tiny black pot labeled Ocean Salt.

Ocean Salt is one of my holy-grail skincare items!!  I strongly suggest adding this to your beauty routine.  Ocean Salt is a sea salt body and face scrub.  It contains lime, avocado, sea salt, coconut etc.   I purchased the self-preserving Ocean Salt, but you can also purchase a formula that is not.  I personally prefer the self-preserving because I feel it was less drying on my skin.

This product smells SO good, it is my FAVOURITE scent for skincare items.  Using it is also very easy and quick.  I use this once a week in the shower because the hot water helps to open up pores.  I take a wooden cosmetic stick (which you can find at your local beauty supply store) and I mix the product with it.  This helps to mix the sea salt that is sitting on top when you purchase it, and once it is mixed it ensures you get all of layers in your scoop of product.  I then scoop about a loonie size amount (for my face) and scrub that all over my face (except the eye area) and I let that sit for about a minute then rinse it off.  I follow this with my Lush toner and moisturizer, and I am left with glowing, smooth, brighter skin.

Ocean Salt is so good for cleaning out your pores, and to prevent breakouts as well as treat a breakout if you do get one.  One of the other wonderful things I love about Lush is that they do not test on animals.  In fact their products often label if they are Vegetarian or Vegan, in this case Ocean Salt is Vegan (meaning it does not contain any animal products of any kind.)  I purchased a pot of Ocean Salt 120g for C$21.95.  It is also available in a pot of 250g for C$31.95
