My “philosophy” no pun intended lol is that beauty starts with your skin.  For me, if I can have clear, moisturized and fresh looking skin this means I don’t have to wear a lot of makeup and this is also very good for my skin, so it’s really a win-win.

I have oily skin and I am prone to blackheads- YAY, not.  I find many masks don’t do much for my skin, but WOW the Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask actually works.  According to Sephora these are the claims the mask makes “Featuring purifying white clay, salicylic acid (to improve the look of acne scars), and natural exfoliants, this creamy Pore Extractor mask helps draw out impurities, scrub away blackheads, and visibly improve pores. The gentle yet potent exfoliating formula leaves skin looking refreshed, smooth, and glowing—with less visible pores.” I am here to tell you these claims are true.

This mask is good for oily, dry, normal, combination and sensitive skin.  It is made to help with pores, acne, blemishes and dull or uneven texture.  I have used this mask three times now and I already see an improvement in my skin.  It has significantly helped clear the blackheads on my nose, and the rest of my face is so soft and it has definitely helped with some pigmentation I had from some blemishes the last month.  It is really rare for me to use a mask and think “Oh my god, my blackheads are almost gone!” but with this mask that was my exact reaction after two uses.

Using this mask is very simple.  Apply it to your face and massage it in.  You can see in my photos below that the mask has a bit of a grainy texture to it.  You then leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes and rinse it off while massaging it away with water.

I give this a 10 out of 10.   It is not overly drying on my skin and it did help improve the blackheads I have on my nose.  I don’t think anything will take my blackheads away completely because I have oily skin, but I most definitely see a big improvement with them since using this product.  I highly recommend this mask if you have not tried it!  You can purchase it at Sephora for C$39.00, click here to shop the product.
