Sothys sent me the following products from the collection:

Cream Blush

The Cream Blush in the shade Rose so unique.  When you swatch it, it comes out as a cream texture, but as soon as it hits the skin the warmth turns it into a powder.  This makes for a very healthy look, it really gives the effect of a healthy complexion and natural flush.  The Cream Blush has a velvet texture, and it is very soft with a satin finish.  This product states it has buildable coverage, this is very true.  I highly suggest using a light hand with this product as it is very pigmented and intense.  The first time I used this I didn’t take a lot of the product, but it was still too much on my cheeks.  A little goes a LONG way with this product.  I suggest applying this with a light hand and building the coverage to your desired look.  If you apply too much you can always dust some powder over it to tone it down.  I can’t get over how little you need to see results.

Smoky Eye Duo

This Smoky Eye Duo comes with an eyeshadow stick (first photo) and an eyeliner (second photo).  You can get this duo in two shades, and the one pictured here is in a plum/cranberry shade, the other shade is in grey.  Both have a creamy texture, so if you have oily eyelids i’d suggest using an eye primer like the Urban Decay Primer Potion before application so that it lasts all day.  The formula for both are long-lasting and have an iridescent finish.  The jumbo eyeshadow pencil in colour is quite burgundy, whereas the eyeliner pencil is more of a plum/purple shade.  I paired this with my Maison Jacynthe eyeshadow in Affogato and it created a beautiful look.

Velvet Effect Lipstick

This Velvet Effect lipstick is probably my favourite piece of the collection.  With its soft velvet texture, high coverage and matte finish, I fell in love with this instantly.  I received the lipstick in shade Rose Lepic, in my opinion this shade is a “your lips but better” shade.   The formula is so comfortable to wear and I am also really impressed with how soft it is on the lips.  For a matte lipstick I am so impressed with how it shows up on the lips.  Sometimes matte shades have a tendency to make your lips look dry or chapped, and/or make chapped skin show up.  This lipstick does not do this at all, it sits beautifully and doesn’t dry out your lips.

Nail Lacquer

This nail lacquer formula is enriched with keratin and biotin which cares for your nails.  Application was quite easy as the applicator is very flat.  It comes in a timeless red shade, which normally I am not one to wear red polish, but I actually really liked this shade.  I wore it on my toes and it was very long-lasting.

Here are some swatches of the products:
