Last week I talked about the Philosophy Purity Pore Extractor Mask and how it has really helped diminish the appearance of my blackheads. This week I’m reviewing the Purity Moisturizer as well because yeah the line is that good!
So far this week i’ve talked a lot about skincare and how to get that initial glow by starting with the skin. Today i’m reviewing a blush that can help add some extra glow 😉
I’m sure you’ve heard of the drugstore brand Milani and if you are a beauty enthusiast like I am, i’m sure you have seen their Baked Blushes reviewed all over YouTube and social media. Today I am reviewing their most popular/talked about shade “Luminoso“.
Following my skincare post from yesterday, I have another must-have for you! Shiseido released the Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 42 for face and it is so comfortable to wear.
Looking for a warm healthy glow without harming your skin? YES, PLEASE. Guerlain is so well-known for their Terracotta Bronzer, and they have done it again by releasing the Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Radiance Powder. I received this in my gift bag from the Dave Lackie Cityline event a week and a bit ago and I have not stopped using it since.
Hi lovelies, I’m super excited to be writing this recap as I had the BEST day Friday. I was lucky enough to get to attend a Dave Lackie event at Cityline in Toronto! Beauty Editor and Cityline Beauty Expert Dave Lackie invited us to the station in Toronto where we were treated to a breakfast hosted by Philosophy, and to be in the audience for a taping of the show. We also got to hangout with Dave, host of the show Tracy Moore and the producers and crew. We were sent home with an extremely generous gift bag and I am already loving so many of the products we received.
Here is a quick recap of the morning:
Breakfast and a chat with Dave Lackie and Tracy Moore in the green room:
Maybelline is REALLY killing it in the beauty industry right now, I can’t get over how great their products are. I am not one to wear foundation, but I had to try the Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free + Balance Foundation Stick made for combination skin. Combination skin is usually referred to as having an oily T-Zone and the rest of the areas of the face being on the dry side. I have an oily T-Zone and this stick promises to provide a shine-free and balanced complexion so I decided to give it a try, keep reading to find out my thoughts!
Mascara, my favourite beauty product! I feel as though I have tried almost every single mascara from drugstore to high-end, you name it and i’ve probably tried it. Lashes are something that really completes a makeup look for me, and this is especially because I have hooded eyelids. Having long lashes helps to hide the hood of your eye, and it also helps to make your eyes appear more open and awake.
One thing I love to incorporate into my mascara routine is a primer. I started using mascara primers a few years ago, and I notice such a difference in the wear of my mascara- from the longevity to the definition of my lashes. My all time favourite primer is the Dior- Diorshow Maximizer Primer which retails for C$37.00 at Sephora. That primer specifically is expensive but it really does give amazing results. But today i’m here to talk about a more affordable primer from the drugstore that also provides great results. Maybelline The Colossal Big Shot Tinted Primer has really blown me away.
If you love skincare or have a skincare routine, I am sure you have heard of Sothys Paris however, today i’m talking about their makeup products! Are you looking for some great beauty finds to get as gifts for those on your list this Christmas? Then i’d suggest you take a look at the Sothys Paris Fall-Winter 2017 makeup collection “Reflet”. I am really impressed with the quality of these products. I’d like to thank Sothys for sending me the makeup collection to review!
